LGV 2 Training
Why LGV 2 Training is Necessary
After completing LGV 2 Training, a Class 2 driver is qualified to operate vehicles weighing more than 3,500 kg, including trailers weighing up to 750 kg. This smaller truck, also known as a rigid, is typically used for local and residential deliveries and has a maximum weight of 32 tonnes. Since your Cat C licence also permits you to drive any vehicle covered by the Category C1 licence (vehicles over 3.5 tonnes but below 7.5 tonnes), the HGV Class 2 training programme is the most popular choice for new commercial vehicle drivers. The Cat C exam is no longer required to train for your Cat C+E licence, according to new legislation. Or maybe you only want your Cat C licence.
