C1 8 Hour Course – Additions (Cat C1)
The C1 8 Hour Additions Course with GS Driver Training is the ideal choice if you want a fast yet complete training package. With this licence, you can drive vehicles between 3,500kg and 7,500kg, such as ambulances, large vans, horseboxes, and motorhomes. Because this package includes the essential medical, provisional, and theory steps, you can start your journey with confidence and complete everything in one go.
This course begins with your driver medical, which ensures you are fit to operate larger vehicles. We’ll then guide you through applying for your C1 provisional licence. After that, you’ll prepare using our online revision resources before taking your LGV theory and hazard perception tests. Once these steps are complete, you’ll move on to 8 hours of practical training in a modern C1 vehicle with a DVSA-approved instructor.
During your training, you will practise reversing manoeuvres, vehicle safety checks, and on-road driving. Importantly, the course also includes both your Module 3a reversing test and your Module 3b on-road test, so you complete training and testing within the package. As a result, you’ll be fully prepared to pass your test and gain your C1 licence.
