C1 8 Hour Course – Additions & CPC (Cat C1)
The C1 8 Hour Additions & CPC Course with GS Driver Training is a fast and complete package for drivers who want to gain their Category C1 licence and their Driver CPC Initial Qualification. With this licence, you can drive vehicles weighing between 3,500kg and 7,500kg, including ambulances, large vans, motorhomes, and horseboxes. Because the package also includes CPC, you will be ready to drive professionally as soon as you pass.
This course covers all the essential steps. First, you will complete your driver medical, and we will guide you through applying for your C1 provisional licence. Next, you will prepare with our online revision resources before sitting your LGV theory and hazard perception tests. Once these are complete, you will begin 8 hours of practical training in a modern C1 vehicle with one of our DVSA-approved instructors.
During your sessions, you will practise reversing manoeuvres, safety checks, and on-road driving. Importantly, the course also includes your Module 3a reversing test and your Module 3b on-road test, which means you complete both training and testing within one package. In addition, you will finish your Driver CPC Initial Qualification, which covers Part 2 (Case Studies) and Part 4 (Practical Demonstration). As a result, you will gain your licence and be fully qualified to work professionally.
