The Fast Track C+E 40 Hour Additions & CPC Course with GS Driver Training is our most complete training package. It is designed for learners who want maximum preparation time while also completing all the legal requirements to work professionally as an HGV driver. With this course, you can go directly from a car licence to your Category C+E licence (also called the Class 1 HGV licence) without first passing a Category C test.
This package covers every stage of the process. You’ll begin with your driver medical and we’ll arrange your C+E provisional licence application. You’ll then prepare with online revision resources before taking your LGV theory and hazard perception tests. Once complete, you’ll move into 40 hours of practical training in an articulated lorry with a DVSA-approved instructor. During this time, you’ll cover reversing, coupling and uncoupling, and on-road driving. The package also includes your Module 3a reversing test and your Module 3b on-road test.
To qualify for professional driving, this course also includes the Driver CPC Initial Qualification. You’ll complete both Part 2 (Case Studies) and Part 4 (Practical Demonstration), ensuring you meet all industry standards. As a result, you’ll leave the course fully licensed, CPC-certified, and ready to begin work.
