Description
C1 12 Hour Course – Additions (Cat C1)
The C1 12 Hour Additions Course with GS Driver Training is the perfect option if you want a complete package that covers every stage of the licensing process. With this course, you will earn your Category C1 licence, which allows you to drive vehicles between 3,500kg and 7,500kg. Therefore, it is ideal for ambulance drivers, horsebox users, delivery drivers, or anyone needing to operate larger vans and motorhomes.
Unlike the standard training course, the Additions package includes everything from start to finish. First, you’ll complete your driver medical, and we’ll guide you through applying for your C1 provisional licence. Next, you’ll prepare with online revision resources before sitting your LGV theory and hazard perception tests. After these steps, you will complete 12 hours of practical training in a C1 vehicle with a DVSA-approved instructor.
During your training, you’ll cover reversing manoeuvres, vehicle safety checks, and on-road driving. Because the course also includes both your Module 3a reversing test and Module 3b on-road test, you’ll complete training and testing within one seamless package. As a result, you’ll be fully prepared and confident when it comes to passing your test.
