C1 16 Hour Course – Additions (Cat C1)
The C1 16 Hour Additions Course with GS Driver Training is the ideal package for anyone who wants to gain their Category C1 licence with full support at every stage. This licence allows you to drive vehicles between 3,500kg and 7,500kg, such as ambulances, delivery vans, horseboxes, and large motorhomes. In addition, you can tow trailers up to 750kg, making the licence useful for both personal and professional driving.
Unlike the standard training option, the Additions package includes everything you need to get started. You’ll begin with your driver medical, which is required before applying for your provisional entitlement. We’ll then help you complete your C1 provisional licence application so you’re ready to progress. After that, you’ll use our online revision resourcesto prepare for the theory and hazard perception tests, which are included in this package. Once these steps are complete, you’ll move on to 16 hours of practical training in a modern C1 vehicle with a DVSA-approved instructor.
Your training will cover reversing manoeuvres, safety checks, and on-road driving to help you build confidence behind the wheel. The course also includes both your Module 3a reversing test and your Module 3b on-road test, so you can complete everything within your training hours. As a result, this package gives you a smooth, stress-free route to achieving your licence.
