The C1 16 Hour Additions & CPC Course with GS Driver Training is a complete training package for learners who want to gain their Category C1 licence and meet the legal requirements for professional driving. With this licence, you can drive vehicles between 3,500kg and 7,500kg, such as ambulances, large vans, motorhomes, and horseboxes. In addition, you can tow trailers over 750kg, making it a versatile option for both personal and commercial use.
This Additions package takes care of every step in the process. You’ll begin with your driver medical, and we’ll help you apply for your C1 provisional licence. After that, you’ll use our online revision resources to prepare for your theory and hazard perception tests. Once complete, you’ll progress to 16 hours of practical training in a modern C1 vehicle with one of our DVSA-approved instructors.
During your training, you’ll practice key skills including reversing manoeuvres, safety checks, and confident on-road driving. The course also includes your Module 3a reversing test and your Module 3b on-road test, ensuring you complete everything within your training hours. To qualify for professional use, this course additionally covers the Driver CPC Initial Qualification, with both Part 2 (Case Studies) and Part 4 (Practical Demonstration) included.
