The Class 1 HGV 24 Hour Course with CPC from GS Driver Training is our most comprehensive training package. It is designed for drivers who want maximum preparation before test day while also achieving their Driver CPC Initial Qualification. With this licence, you will gain your Category C+E entitlement (also known as the Class 1 LGV or HGV licence). Therefore, you will be able to drive articulated lorries or drawbar combinations over 7.5 tonnes and start working professionally in the transport industry.
This course provides 24 hours of practical training in an articulated lorry with one of our DVSA-approved instructors. During this time, you will practice reversing, coupling and uncoupling, and on-road driving until you feel confident and prepared. In addition, the package includes both the Module 3a reversing test and the Module 3b on-road test, allowing you to complete everything within your course hours. To meet the legal requirement for professional driving, the course also covers Driver CPC Part 2 (Case Studies) and Part 4 (Practical Demonstration). As a result, you’ll finish the course fully licensed and qualified to work.
