D1 16 Hour Course (Cat D1)
The D1 16 Hour Course with GS Driver Training is the ideal option if you want more time to prepare before your test. With a Category D1 licence, you can drive minibuses with 9–16 passenger seats. Therefore, it suits schools, care homes, charities, community transport providers, or individuals who need to drive a minibus safely.
This course is designed for learners who already have their driver medical, D1 provisional entitlement, and theory tests completed. Once those steps are finished, you can go straight into 16 hours of practical training in a modern D1 vehicle with a DVSA-approved instructor.
During your training, you’ll practise reversing manoeuvres, passenger safety checks, and safe on-road driving. Because your hours also include the Module 3a reversing test and the Module 3b on-road test, you complete everything in one package. As a result, you’ll feel confident, prepared, and ready to pass your D1 test.
