Description
D1 16 Hour Course – Additions & CPC (Cat D1)
The D1 16 Hour Additions & CPC Course with GS Driver Training gives you a complete route to your Category D1 licence and Driver CPC Initial Qualification. With this licence, you can drive minibuses with 9–16 passenger seats. Therefore, it suits schools, care homes, charities, and community transport. Because CPC is included, you’ll also qualify to drive professionally.
This package takes you step by step. First, you complete a driver medical to confirm you’re fit to drive. Next, we help you apply for your D1 provisional licence. After that, you prepare using our online revision resources before sitting your theory and hazard perception tests. Once those are done, you move on to 16 hours of practical training in a modern D1 vehicle with a DVSA-approved instructor.
During training, you practise reversing manoeuvres, passenger safety checks, and safe on-road driving. Your hours also cover the Module 3a reversing test and the Module 3b on-road test, so you complete everything in one package. Finally, you complete the Driver CPC Initial Qualification, which includes Part 2 (Case Studies) and Part 4 (Practical Demonstration). As a result, you finish the course fully licensed and CPC qualified.
