The D1 8 Hour Additions & CPC Course with GS Driver Training gives you everything you need to gain your Category D1 licence and your Driver CPC Initial Qualification. With this licence, you can drive minibuses with 9–16 passenger seats. Therefore, this option works well for schools, care homes, charities, community transport, or anyone needing to operate a minibus safely.
This package guides you through every step. First, you complete a driver medical to confirm your fitness to drive. Next, we support you in applying for your D1 provisional licence. After that, you use our online revision resources to prepare for your theory and hazard perception tests. Once those are passed, you move straight into 8 hours of practical training in a modern D1 vehicle with a DVSA-approved instructor.
During training, you practise reversing manoeuvres, passenger safety checks, and real-world on-road driving. Because the package also includes your Module 3a reversing test and your Module 3b on-road test, you complete training and testing in one go. Finally, you earn your Driver CPC Initial Qualification, which covers Part 2 (Case Studies) and Part 4 (Practical Demonstration).
