D1 8 Hour Course – Book (Cat D1)
The D1 8 Hour Course with GS Driver Training is a fast and efficient way to earn your Category D1 licence. With this licence, you can drive minibuses with 9–16 passenger seats. Therefore, it’s ideal for schools, care homes, charities, community transport, or anyone needing to operate a minibus safely and legally.
This course is for learners who already have their driver medical, D1 provisional entitlement, and theory testscompleted. Once those steps are done, you can move straight into 8 hours of practical training with one of our DVSA-approved instructors in a modern D1 vehicle.
During your training, you will practise reversing manoeuvres, passenger safety checks, and confident on-road driving. Because your training hours also include the Module 3a reversing test and the Module 3b on-road test, you complete everything in one package. As a result, you’ll be ready to pass your test and gain your licence quickly.
