The Cat D1+E 16 Hour Course with GS Driver Training is designed for drivers who want extra practice before taking their trailer entitlement test. With this licence, you can drive a minibus with 9–16 passenger seats and tow a trailer weighing over 750kg. Therefore, it is ideal for schools, charities, community transport, or outdoor activity centres that need extra space for equipment, luggage, or wheelchairs.
This training package is for drivers who already hold a valid Category D1 licence. Once this requirement is met, you move directly into 16 hours of practical training with a DVSA-approved instructor in a modern minibus and trailer.
During the course, you will practise trailer reversing, safe coupling and uncoupling, and real-world on-road driving. Because the Cat D1+E 16 Hour Course also includes both the Module 3a reversing test and the Module 3b on-road test, you complete training and testing in one package. As a result, you gain the skills, confidence, and licence you need in a structured and supportive environment.
