The C1 12 Hour Additions & CPC Course with GS Driver Training is a complete package designed to help you gain your Category C1 licence and your Driver CPC Initial Qualification. With this licence, you can legally drive vehicles between 3,500kg and 7,500kg, such as ambulances, horseboxes, large vans, and motorhomes. Because it also includes CPC, you will be ready to work professionally as soon as you pass.
This course covers every step of the process. First, you’ll complete your driver medical, and we’ll guide you through applying for your C1 provisional licence. Next, you’ll prepare using our online revision resources before taking your theory and hazard perception tests. Once those are complete, you’ll begin 12 hours of practical training in a modern C1 vehicle with a DVSA-approved instructor.
During your practical sessions, you will learn reversing manoeuvres, vehicle checks, and safe road driving. In addition, the package includes both the Module 3a reversing test and the Module 3b on-road test, so you can complete training and testing in one go. To meet professional requirements, you’ll also complete the Driver CPC Initial Qualification, which includes Part 2 (Case Studies) and Part 4 (Practical Demonstration). As a result, you will leave fully licensed and legally qualified to drive C1 vehicles for work.
