The C1 8 Hour Course with GS Driver Training is a focused training option for learners who want to gain their Category C1+E licence quickly and efficiently. With this licence, you can drive medium-sized vehicles (3,500–7,500kg) with a trailer over 750kg. Consequently, this qualification is ideal for ambulance drivers, removal companies, horsebox users, and anyone who needs to tow heavier trailers for personal or professional use.
This course is designed for learners who already have their medical, provisional entitlement, and theory testscompleted. Once these requirements are in place, you can move directly into 8 hours of practical training with one of our DVSA-approved instructors. During this course, you will focus on essential skills such as reversing, trailer manoeuvres, coupling and uncoupling, and safe on-road driving. In addition, your training time includes both the Module 3a reversing test and the Module 3b on-road test, so you can complete your licence in a single package.
