D1 12 Hour Course (Cat D1)
The D1 12 Hour Course with GS Driver Training is a balanced option for learners who want solid preparation before their minibus test. With a Category D1 licence, you can legally drive minibuses with 9–16 passenger seats. Therefore, this course is ideal for schools, care homes, charities, community transport, or private drivers who need to operate a minibus safely.
This course suits learners who already have their driver medical, D1 provisional entitlement, and theory testscompleted. Once those steps are finished, you can move straight into 12 hours of practical training in a modern D1 vehicle with one of our DVSA-approved instructors.
During your training, you will practise reversing manoeuvres, safety checks, and safe on-road driving. Because the course also includes both the Module 3a reversing test and the Module 3b on-road test, you complete your training and testing within the same package. As a result, you gain confidence, improve your skills, and prepare fully for your D1 test.
